About Me (4)_edited_edited.png

I have always had a passion for color and beauty, and enjoyed the exploration of all art forms since I was a child. Including acrylic painting, soft pastel, photography, pottery, and silversmithing. I received a Fine Arts Degree from George Mason University where I studied painting, graphic design, and 3-dimensional art. I started out as a Computer Illustrator and Graphic Designer. After many years in this profession, I decided to go back to my fine arts routes and reengaged in painting and creating pottery.

Who We Are

River Oaks Pottery strives to foster imagination and creativity in our studio by helping students create beautiful art. Whether you’re coming in to spend the day or to truly explore your talent, you’ll find a blank canvas awaiting you with a caring instructor to help you along the way.

Our Goal

It is my goal to teach you how to express your ideas in clay. Learning a new discipline takes time and practice. I strive to make this process easy and enjoyable. Please come and take this opportunity to share the love of art with each other and create beautiful works of art as well as functional pieces in clay.
